I am Luming Zhang, an aspiring scholar in educational measurement, with research interests in psychometrics, computerized adaptive testing (CAT), and fairness in assessment. I am preparing to apply for Ph.D. programs in Fall 2026, with the aim of developing rigorous and equity-oriented methods for assessment design and evaluation.
My academic background bridges statistics, education policy, and international studies. I earned an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I took coursework in Statistical & Psychometric Methods for Educational Measurement.
I also hold a B.A. in International Relations with a Statistics minor from Mount Holyoke College. These experiences have shaped my interest in connecting technical measurement methods with broader issues of educational equity.
On this site, you can explore my CV and Projects, which reflect both my research experiences and my determination to grow into a scholar in educational measurement.
